1. Last Sunday’s love offering is Rs. 15,862/-2. We thank the following group for organising mass and cleaning of the Church done by i.e Saturday’s English mass Martu Fernandes & Fly, Emy Dias & Fly, Sam Fernandes & Fly from St. Joseph Vaz Somudai, Navetim and Sunday’s Morning 7.00 a.m mass – Anacleta Rodrigues & Fly, Menino D’Souza & Fly, Francis D’Mello & Fly from St. Mathew Somudai, Maina & Manxer and Second Mass at 8.30 a.m was organised by Parish Youth3. 18th June 2022, Saturday, cleaning of the Church and organising the Liturgy will be done by Sydney Costa & Fly, Lourenco Fernandes & Fly, Peter D’Sa & Fly from St. Thereza of Child Jesus Somudai, Alto Savlem . Coming Saturday (18th June) no evening mass in English at 6.00 p.m. as there will be novena mass at 5.30 p.m. 19th June Sunday morning 7.00 a.m Mass will be organised by St. Thereza of Child Jesus Somudai, Alto Savlem and no Second Mass at 8.30 a.m 4. Due to Novenas of St. John the Baptist there will be no English Mass at 6.00 p.m on Saturday 18th June so also no second Mass on 19th at 8.30 a.m. But there will be Catechism in the evening at 4.00 p.m. There will be no morning mass at 7.00 a.m in the church from 14th to 22nd June due to evening Novenas.5. Parishioners can come give Mass intentions for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Death Anniversary, Birthday, Good Health, Special intention and Thanksgiving. Masses for the dead ( for the Souls who completed three years and above will be not be entered on the Diary. The first preference will be for the above intentions if there are no such intentions on that day then masses for the Soul will be celebrated)6. Every Wednesday we will have the Liturgical Study of the Bible from 6.30 to 8.00 p.m.7. 13th June ,blessing of the Banner (Maddi) of St. John the Baptist at 6.45 a.m followed by mass and from 14th onwards novena begins.The programme of the same is sent on the group. Kindly prepare the liturgy and send it for correction by tomorrow.8. From June onwards there will be two music classes in a week i.e Tuesdays and Fridays from 3.30 to 4.30. On Tuesdays solfeggio and Theory of Music will be taught and on Fridays Musical instruments( Violin, Keyboard and Guitar ) will be taught.9. A well wisher has donated 1,00,000 for the Church. Another two well wishers have donated 5,000 each for the Church . May God bless them generously. 10. In view of Probable 4th wave of Covid, the government has decide to hasten the process of giving the 1st and 2nd dose of giving Covishield Vaccine for 18- 59 years. A precautionary dose for above 60 years of age is also available after 9months of 2nd dose. Please visit Saligao Health Centre for necessary Vacination on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.11. 12th June,Sunday vespers of St.Anthony. at 5.30 p.m.After the Vespers .there will be meeting of the members of the chapel. On13th June the feast Mass will be celebrated at 6.00 p.m. This year the feast is celebrated by Cosme Fernandes and Family.12. 13th June 2022 , feast of St.Anthony at Moicavaddo chapel. Feast mass at 8.00 a.m.13. Our Parish is entering it’s 365th year of its establishment. We shall open the jubilee year on 23rd June 2022 , on the feast day of our Patron, St.John the Baptist. Bishop Alywn Barretto will be the main celebrant for the feast day and shall declare the jubilee year open.14. 18th June, Saturday there will be Altar Server’s meeting at 4.00 p.m followed by Novenas.
